Blog 6: Religions Don’t Need Fictitious Gods — Only Recognition of the Universal Soul

A Man realizing his connection and existence in an Infinite Universal Soul without need of personified and external Gods.
“A single light, one consciousness: reflected in the stars above and awakened within the soul below.”

Introduction: Before the Masks Were Worn

Religion, as presented to the masses today, is often a hall of mirrors—echoes of older truths refracted through layers of myth, politics, power, and fear. Yet behind every temple, scripture, deity, and doctrine, there once existed something far simpler and infinitely more profound:

A recognition of the Universal Soul—a conscious, animating intelligence manifesting through all existence—was first discerned in humanity’s observation of the cosmic stars, the celestial rhythms of the Universe and the Cosmos, expressed through Astrology and Astronomy, ultimately crystallizing into Astrotheology. This Universal Intelligent Consciousness has been called by many names across cultures and ages: the Monad, the Absolute, the Mystery, the Prime Mover, the Infinite, the Tao, Brahma, Buddha, Vishnu, Krishna, Allah, Jesus, Shakti, YHWH, Elohim, and countless others—each a linguistic attempt to describe the same ineffable Source.

This Universal Soul was not a speculative belief; It was observed, measured, felt, and participated in through the harmonious cycles of the natural world and the celestial heavens.

It required no idols. Reality itself was the first scripture.

I. The Ancient Knowing: A Universe Alive

Long before humanity carved gods from stone or wrote divine names upon scrolls, ancient cultures recognized a unifying consciousness permeating every realm of existence. It revealed itself through:

  • the rhythmic breathing of the seasons,

  • the mathematics of planetary motions,

  • the generative mysteries of woman,

  • the agricultural cycles of death and rebirth,

  • the cause-and-effect justice of Natural Law.

Astrology and astronomy were not “primitive sciences”—they were cosmic literacy, methods for reading the Universal Soul’s architecture. And when these disciplines merged with mythic interpretation, they formed the earliest Astrotheology, the sacred understanding of divine intelligence expressed through the stars.

This was the first theology, before theology. The first scripture, before alphabets existed. And it was accessible to all, without priest or institution.

II. The Decline: When People Forgot How to Read the Universe

As literacy diminished and hierarchies rose, the masses lost access to the universal language of the heavens. The pure recognition of the Universal Soul—internal, intuitive, and experiential—was replaced by anthropomorphic projections that mirrored the psychology of their creators more than the cosmos itself. Deities became characters. Myth became literalized. The cosmic language was replaced by personality cults.

The once-illuminating science of the stars became restricted knowledge. What was universal became institutional.

III. The Weaponization: Replacing Inner Knowing with Outer Authority

With divinity personified and monopolized, institutions discovered a potent formula:

  1. Redirect awareness outward.

  2. Sever connection to the inner divine spark.

  3. Interpose a hierarchy between the individual and “God.”

  4. Gatekeep access to salvation.

  5. Use theology as a tool of governance.

The Universal Soul—immanent, internal, experiential—was replaced by doctrines that demanded obedience to external authorities. The stars no longer guided destiny; institutions did. Dependency replaced sovereignty.

IV. Artificial Childhood: The Oldest Political Strategy

Once humanity’s spiritual maturity was interrupted, psychological dependency became permanent. This Artificial Extension of Childhood ensured:

  • diminished critical thinking

  • reliance on authority

  • fear-based obedience

  • theological justification for hierarchy

  • easier manipulation through guilt, shame, and fear

Doctrines like the Justified Sinner mentality excused immoral actions when done under divine sanction, enabling oppression while hiding behind the mask of righteousness. Thus a corrupted theology justified corrupted actions.

V. The Lost Recognition: The Universal Soul Never Left

Despite distortion and suppression, the Universal Soul remains present:

  • in celestial precision

  • in the fractal geometry of nature

  • in the intuitive knowing within every human being

  • in the unbreakable logic of Natural Law

No external god can replace an internal truth.

Religion never needed fictional deities; It only needed recognition of the Universal Soul—the blueprint of reality and the divine thread binding all existence.

Conclusion: Returning to the Source

Humanity is awakening from centuries of theological personification. The veil lifts. The stars speak again. Inner knowing resurfaces. Astrotheology returns. The Universal Soul returns. Your sovereignty returns.

The age of intermediaries ends. The age of self-recognition begins.

Jimmie Roberson writes at the intersection of mythology, Natural Law, astro-theology, political theology, and the occult architecture of control systems. His work exposes how ancient spiritual sciences were fragmented, personified, and weaponized to keep humanity in a state of artificial childhood—cut off from the Universal Soul and the inner sovereignty it confers.

Through the Codex of Truth, Roberson reconstructs the original metaphysical frameworks behind religion, cosmology, and consciousness, illuminating the pathways by which individuals can reclaim their divine spark, decode the ancestral blueprint, and transcend engineered illusions.
